June 2017

Kristin and Aaron had a wedding in the middle of June and could not have asked for a better summer day or a better backdrop than The Refuge. The first look between the bride and groom was something to remember, but the first look between the bride and her father was unforgettable. Capturing moments like these are what make wedding videography such an important piece to anyone’s wedding day.

The Refuge played host to the entire event, from the outdoor ceremony to the dinner, speeches and dances. Filming a ceremony outdoors always proves a bit challenging, from changing sunlight to wind that interferes with audio, but this ceremony went as flawless as it was beautiful.

For this wedding, we rubbed shoulders with the great wedding photographer Shane Long — he not only was a great photographer with fantastic ideas for capturing beautiful visuals, but he worked seamlessly with our team. The header photo on this post is to his credit.
