July 2016

When you’re getting married in the summer, you hope for no rain. As Minnesota weather goes sometimes, this wedding day was a bit of a strange mix of weather. The day started off with rain showers but finished off with a picturesque sunset, which led to some of our best video moments of the entire day.

After the ceremony concluded, Brackett’s Crossing provided the backdrop for the reception. The reception space is grand and makes a great location for a huge party like this one – there were well over 250 guests in the room, which can provide a challenge for your video team to navigate through the crowd at times.

For this July 2016 wedding we worked with photographer Jessica Smith – she was a breeze to work with and prioritized video shots as she worked with the couple to capture all the moments throughout the day. Jessica’s work can be seen as the header image for this post and you can visit her site by following the link above.

Jenn’s Review of Our Services:

Matthew Deery did such an amazing job with our wedding video! We didn’t initially plan on a videographer with all of the other wedding expenses but we’re so thankful we did. He is worth every penny! It was awesome watching all of the great video memories from the day since it went by so fast!

We received a recommendation for Matthew through a friend that had worked with him. We were very happy he was able to start planning on such short notice. It was nice getting to know Matthew and letting him know our style. He was professional, understanding, extremely knowledgable about his field, listened to our every request and made recommendations when we were unsure. His passion for videography put us at ease and really showed in his final product. His meticulous editing produced a fantastic, professional quality video for us to watch for decades to come.

We shared the youtube video with our family and friends and everyone loved it! We can’t wait to see the full video
